Who needs a personal chef?
Personal chefs are for
everyone. Special diets, healthier lifestyle, families, singles, and
everyone in between. With The Oasis Chef's Cost per hour basis it like
paying for 4 hours to get 20 hours back. No more shopping, no more
cooking and clean. Just relaxing.
How will my meals be packaged?
Your meals can be packaged
individually or family style. They will be stored in freezable,
microwaveable containers or Pyrex containers, ready for your
oven. Some meals will be stored in the refrigerator, while others
may go in the freezer for a later date.
How do you prepare the food in my home if you don't know what I have?
The Oasis Chef just needs your
counter space, stove, refrigerator, and sink. He will bring everything
else and leave you appetizing food. He also does the shopping and
brings the spices; so don't worry if your cupboard is bare!
Do you have to prepare the food in my house?
Yes, because of health
department regulations, food must be prepared in the safety of your own
kitchen or in a commercially certified kitchen.
Do I need to be home?
No you don't. In fact most
clients are not at home during a cook date. The Oasis Chef can be at
your home before you go to work, or you can leave a key. Cooking
normally takes four to six hours, depending on the selection and the
amount of food you have chosen.
Can you make my recipe or do you use your own?
The Oasis Chef will be happy to
prepare any recipe you want. Special recipes should be given in
advance! We do also have a vast collection of recipes.
I'm having company over for a party. Can you cater this event?
We love to do Parties. We can
serve the meal, pass appetizers, and clean up after the whole event. It
is like having live entertainment for your party. There may be
additional costs for more people depending on the size of the party. We
can also provide Massage while they wait for the food.
What are the prices?
Unlike
most personal chefs we don't charge for your consultation.
Prices vary widely and can change often. Our prices
usually include cost of food and a $30 per hour charge per
person needed for event. For all packaged personal chef
service only one person is required. For some other events we may
need more.
What if I am on the atkins, or any other specialty diet?
That is what makes a personal chef so great. We keep track of your diet for you and help make sure you stay on course.
